Training
The sport of wrestling is more than just practicing moves but in fact involves a lot of running, lifting, and other exercises to train the body to push itself till there is nothing left. Most lifting for wrestling is not to improve strength but is used to train muscular endurance, things such as circuits in the weight room, running long distances in sprints, and sandbag lifts. Timing is often used in all of these exercises to help keep the body able to make it to a certain point, much like in a match. High school wrestling is a three two minute periods, knowing this is as long as one needs to go the body must a=have the strength and endurance to make every second count.
